The focus of these training programs will be not only to teach techniques to improve climbing ability but to improve that ability in a safe and controlled manner. Safety in this respect refers to both safe rope work and belaying techniques as well as the health and well-being of the child. Climbing is an intensive sport that places great physical demands on a child’s growing body and therefore it is in a parent’s best interest to ensure that your child’s enthusiasm is coupled with the correct knowledge.

An additional ‘Day @ the Crag’ is recommended at the end of this course to let your child experience the exhilarating feeling of climbing on real rock.
